1920s Bacon Symphonie Silver Bell Tenor Banjo – Pearloid, Rhinestones, Original Case

$1,495.00

Absolutely stunning 1920s Bacon “Symphonie” Silver Bell tenor banjo.

If you know these, you know — this is peak Jazz Age banjo design. Pearloid resonator and neck, hand-painted floral inlays, rhinestone-trimmed headstock, engraved hardware, and full art-deco vibe throughout.

This one presents extremely well and is fully playable.

• Pearloid resonator and neck
• Hand-painted floral fingerboard inlays
• Rhinestone headstock trim
• Original tuners
• Includes vintage case

Condition notes (important):

• The resonator back has been glued back on at some point.
• It is not perfectly flat in every spot, but overall sits very close and presents nicely.
• Structurally stable.
• Action is currently a little on the high side but can be adjusted down with setup work.
• Normal finish wear and age patina throughout — exactly what you’d expect from a 100-year-old instrument.

Hardware appears correct and original. Head is in good shape. Plays and functions as it should.

• Display piece (it absolutely turns heads)
