1960s Concert “Quality Guitar” MIJ Offset – Gold Foil Pickups – Project – Missing Bridge

$349.00

Here’s a cool and vibey mid-1960s Japanese-made Concert “Quality Guitar” offset electric.

These were part of the Teisco/Kawai-era wave of quirky, creative MIJ guitars and this one has a lot going for it — including a pair of original gold foil pickups that are both passing signal.

That said, this is being sold as a project guitar.

What’s good:

  • Original gold foil pickups (both passing signal)

  • Original tuners

  • Original knobs, switches, pickguard, and vibrato tailpiece

  • Neck appears straight

  • Killer vintage patina throughout

What it needs:

  • Bridge is missing

  • No strings currently installed

  • Electronics pass signal but have not been fully tested under string tension — may need cleaning/service

  • General cosmetic wear throughout (chips, finish loss, edge wear, etc. as shown)

The body shows honest vintage wear with plenty of character. The pickups are the highlight here — these old gold foils have a unique, chimey voice that people chase.

This would make a fantastic restoration project, mod platform, or parts donor depending on your vision.

Includes gig bag.

Please review all photos carefully. Sold as-is due to project condition.
