This is a vintage Fernandes GC-25 Grand Concert classical guitar, made in Japan by Takamine. It’s a well-built, honest classical from the era when Takamine was producing instruments for several respected house brands, and it shows in both the fit and finish and the overall feel.
The guitar is in very good vintage condition. The top is clean with only light, honest play wear and no cracks. The back and sides show attractive rosewood grain and have held up well over time. Neck is straight, frets are in good shape, and the guitar plays comfortably up the neck. Tuners function as they should.
Tonally, this one has a clear, balanced voice with good projection and a warm low end. It’s a solid choice for a student stepping up from an entry-level classical or for someone looking for a quality Japanese-made nylon string without paying modern boutique prices.
Includes the original hard shell case, which is also in good, usable condition.
