Up for sale is a Greco Strat-style electric guitar made in Japan at the Matsumoku factory. These Japanese Greco guitars are known for their excellent build quality and are becoming increasingly collectible, especially the Matsumoku-made instruments.
This guitar plays great with low, comfortable action and is fully functional. The neck feels great and the frets still have good life left.
The guitar did previously have cracks in the body which have been professionally filled and repaired. The repairs are visible under the finish but the body is solid and stable. Please see photos for close-up details of the repaired areas.
Cosmetically, the guitar shows normal wear including scratches, small dings, and finish wear consistent with age and use. The back tremolo cover plate is missing.
Includes tremolo arm (whammy bar) and gig bag.
This is a great player-grade Japanese guitar with vintage MIJ quality at a much lower price than Fender Japan models.
