TF Morris B-50 - 12-String Japan Acoustic Guitar w/ Hard Case
This is an all-original mid-’80s Japanese Morris B-50 12-string from the TF series—widely regarded as Morris’s best and most consistently high-quality lineup. These were built in Japan using excellent tonewoods and very skilled craftsmanship, and it shows the moment you pick it up.
The styling leans into classic Martin-inspired territory, including a three-piece back with a figured chestnut center strip, very much in the spirit of a D-35. It’s a great look and adds a bit of visual personality without being over the top.
This guitar has been professionally set up and plays exactly how you’d want a 12-string to play—low, comfortable action and very easy on the hands. It’s responsive, balanced, and a joy to spend time with. One of those instruments you don’t feel the need to “upgrade” from later.
Specs-wise, it features an X-braced body with a high-grade solid spruce top finished in gloss, fully bound with abalone trim. The rosette is abalone as well, paired with a single-ply black pickguard. Rosewood sides and a bound three-piece back (rosewood / chestnut / rosewood) round out the body. The one-piece mahogany neck has a bound rosewood fingerboard with hexagonal abalone inlays and a zero fret. The headstock carries the classic TF Morris logo and original chrome Morris tuners. Rosewood bridge.
